What’s Your Source of Truth?

Good Morning PCF family, here are some updates and reminders.

Reminder: There is a concert this afternoon at our church. Doors open at 3:30 concert at 4:00pm. Bonni and I were at the rehearsal last night and this is a talented group of singers singing praise and worship. They are directed by Paul Pitts.

Mark your Calendars:  Saturday October 11th PCF will have it’s annual Lasagna dinner at 5:00pm. Our mission for this dinner will be the Community Hope Center.

New Prayer Request: Harold Blumberg Sr. who is Jennifer Rinkel’s grandfather. Harold has cancer which has spread throughout his body and the family is asking for prayers of peace and comfort for Harold.

Here is the latest letter from Landon’s mom who’s high school son just received a heart transplant.

Yesterday, I felt as if the ground was ripped out from under me. When I looked at my son, so still, so fragile, I thought my heart might stop beating with his. I begged God, I begged the doctors, I begged anyone who would listen. Please, please don’t take my boy from me. The weight of that fear was unbearable. But even in my weakest moments, Jesus held me. He reminded me that He has never let go of Landon’s hand, and He will not start now. Last night, I wept until I was empty. This morning, God gave me just what I needed… a glimpse of hope.

Today, when I walked into his room, I saw life. His skin was warm. His face looked brighter. And when I spoke to him, his eyebrows lifted, as if to say, “Mom, I hear you.” That tiny response breathed courage back into my broken heart. Today, we are praising God for stability, for warmth, and for the faint but beautiful signs of life. Please keep praying with us. Pray that his heart will grow stronger, and that his body will rest and heal.

God is writing this story. And even though it hurts in ways I cannot explain, I know the ending belongs to Him.❤️

Please keep Landon in your prayers.
I’m Looking forward to being with my church family tomorrow! Love pastor Kent
