PCF family and friends, yesterday was wonderful day! It was so great to see so many of you after more than year of being apart. It was also wonderful to be back with our friends at Esic Baptist Church. They have made our transition easy and we are grateful.
As we move forward we will work out a few bugs here and there but from what I experienced yesterday, we are 90% there! For those who were not able to attend, we are still going to broadcast all services live and they will also be recorded on our Facebook page so you can watch at your convenience. Yesterday the broadcast quality was not good because we did a last minute iPhone broadcast. This will improve! There is going to be a whole new system installed soon at Esic that should make the broadcasts high quality. In the mean time please be patient as we work improve the broadcast quality.
I also learned yesterday that I will have to time my messages better. What you heard was only about 1/2 the message; I ran out of time. But that will be adjusted and planned for better as we move forward. I also will begin giving more biblical commentary on this blog. This next week I will launch a series on “Why should you become a disciple of Jesus!”
I want to give a very special shout out to Barb Weiss who came to see us all the way from Colorado, and Will and Donna Bowers who came in from their new home in Missouri. And a huge thank you to everyone who was part of our kickoff service.
Next week I look forward to seeing even more of you same time: 9:00am same place: 1000 Esic Drive Edwardsville at Esic Baptist Church. This is an amazing Jesus loving Family and you are invited to be part of this journey.
Prayers
- I talked with Rusty and Sheryl Burian after our service Sunday. Both Rusty and Sheryl need our prayers. Sheryl needs both knees replaced and Rusty is having severe nerve pain into his legs from a pinched nerve in his back.
- An update on John Grant. Both John and his lovely wife Marla were both with us yesterday at our kickoff service. John says he is doing much better. John we continue to lift you up to the perfect Healer.
- Stephanie Powell, the daughter of Mary Knapp. Stephanie is facing an extremely difficult situation with her mentally handicapped 30 year old son who lives with her. He has gotten aggressive and violent and she cannot find a facility to help her. Let’s pray for God to intervene with an answer for her and her son Conner.
- Michelenne Bounds, one of Bonni’s best friends, is having some serious eye problems due to a degenerative form of arthritis. Please pray for God’s intervention and healing touch.
- Susan Dedmon, Susan is the sister of John Grant. John called me this week and asked for prayers for his sister because she has also been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She was struggling with fluid in her lungs so we need to lift her up to the healer of all healers. We ask for your love, peace, mercy, and healing strength for both John and his sister Susan.
- Mary and Leland Knapp, Mary is having trouble with her eyesight and Lee is having some issues with his walking. We ask for God’s mighty hand of healing and love and peace for the both of them.
- Keith Sedlacek, Cathy Crowder has asked for our prayers for Keith who has been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. Please lift Keith and his family in prayer for God’s healing Grace, Peace, and Love.
