Dear PCF family, we will celebrate Easter this Sunday at 10:30am. This will be a communion Sunday. One of the things that may help you understand this celebration is to read the last two chapters of each of the four Gospels except for John which is the last three; Matthew chapters 27-28, Mark chapters 15-16, Luke chapters 23-24, and in John chapters 19,20 and 21. It’s an amazing story!
Come and enjoy the celebration of wonderful choral music, fellowship, message and communion. Easter is the seal of authenticity in what we believe. It is a celebration of love.
- Pancake breakfast sponsored by our men’s group will be on Saturday April 26th from 9:00 -10:30 at the church. Be there!
Patti Franklin’s celebration of life service will be held Monday, April 21st at 5:00 pm at the Ink House in Edwardsville.

- Bonnie Rutkowski , Bonnie is still at Barnes and has a blockage in her leg which is causing a lot of pain. I spoke with Darlene this morning and they are having to make some big decisions for Bonnie’s care. We pray that Bonnie will be released to come back to Edwardsville for rehab to see if they can get her strength back since she has been in the hospital almost three weeks now. While all of this is going on Darlene is still at home recovering from Hip surgery, and Darlene’s husband Eddie is on dialysis. There is some uplifting news in that her Daughter Amber is due to have a baby in a couple of weeks which will be their first grandchild. This family needs our prayers!
- Mike Portell, Mike is still in physical therapy and continues to get work at getting stronger so he can get back to walking on his own. It was good to see Ruth and Mike last Sunday. It’s not easy to get to church with Mike needng a wheel chair but they have made it in for 2 weeks now.
- Mary Knapp, please keep Mary and her husband Leland in your prayers as Mary is still battling a pressure wound that is not healing.
- Dr. Ed Breda a good friend of Joanie Kuba who suffered a severe bicycle accident on March 6th of this year has been left paralyzed from the chest down and lost his left eye, suffered a broken jaw and many broken ribs. Please lift Ed to Jesus’ power of healing and mercy.
- Pray for the family of Patti Franklin.
