Dear PCF family, I know some of you enjoy the bible study before our service and others love the before the service coffee and pastries and after service coffee and pastries. Many times the peach cobblers, chicken salad sandwiches and many other excellent home made baked goods are brought in by Nina Slaby. I got the following message from Tammy this past week so i wanted to share this message on the blog:
Nina’s stove has quit working, and her new stove has been ordered but won’t be installed until late September. If anyone would be interested in donating donuts, homemade or store-bought treats on a Sunday for ESIC Worship Center’s Fellowship Hour on the following dates: August 18th & 25th; September 1st; 8th; 15th; 22nd & 29th please let Tammy Smart know via email at ebaptistchurch@outlook.com or by phone at 618.656.0680.
- I also want to update one of our prayer requests: Guy Schmidt has been on our prayer list for back issues and that has been resolved but Paige Burton, Guy’s sister asked if we could keep Guy in prayers because he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. We pray that God will guide Guys doctors for an effective treatment.
- Reminder: The men’s group is inviting everyone to the pancake and sausage breakfast on the morning of Saturday August 24th.
- As always I look forward to seeing all of you in Sunday morning at 10:30am. Come get blessed by God’s word and the wonderful music our choir provides. This Sunday I will be talking about an old testament story from the book of Haggai that God opened my eyes on that has profound meaning for the people of the world today. Hope to see you then.
