Blessings for Tuesday!

Good Morning PCF family and friends. This morning while reading and praying I had a question come to me. “How many people do you have in your life that are constantly pointing you to Jesus?”  I can think of 2 and one of them is not a personal acquaintance but a pastor I follow online. So there is only one person in my circle that talks with me about God and His power and Kingdom. ONE. I hope all of you reading this can say at least one. That’s a sad commentary on the world we live in isn’t it? That of all the people we know, there are so very few that ever talk to us about Jesus and God’s Kingdom. And we wonder why there are so many problems. Imagine if most of the people in our circle were full of the Holy Spirit and were practicing Christians. Not just people who belong to this church or that church but people who are actively seeking God Daily and working with God to bring His Light, Peace, Wisdom and Joy into their friends and the world.

We all need those special people to be Praying for us and to be encouraging us to Pray and to stay close to the teachings in the Bible. This is a hard, lost world. Just watch the news for an hour.  What God has shown me this morning is that I have to be a better practicing Christian. Remember Stan Rutkowski?  Stan and I had many talks about God and Jesus. Right before he went to be with the Lord I told Him that I would be bold for Jesus. I want to honor that promise in an even bigger way moving forward. That means sharing the life changing message, the Good News of Gods love for us, frequently with the people in our circle.

Don’t let satan steal your light by making you feel self conscious or embarrassed to talk about Jesus with your friends and family. Walk in a new awakened power by standing proudly and brightly with Jesus in your circle of influence. Put all your family and friends on your prayer list and begin praying fervently for God to give you the courage and to open the way for you to share Jesus’ life changing power with them.

I am not a sport’s fan but think think about this for those of you who are. Imagine Yadier Molina moved in next door to you. You become best friends. How many people in your circle would you let know that Yadier lived next to you and you are now best friends? I would imagine most people would not only let their friends and family know, over and over, but they would also share this special friendship they have with Yadier the sports celebrity with complete strangers if the opportunity presented itself. This is an illustration of where we place Jesus on our hierarchy of importance in our life. The King of the Universe or a celebrity figure? Who do you want to be best friends with moving into eternity? Something to think about!

• Doo Nee Loo, Doo Nee is a member of Immanuel Methodist and has been in the hospital. We lift Doo Nee to God’s Healing Hands and for peace and comfort.
• Beverly Farm, For God’s protection pf the staff and the employees during this COVID outbreak.
• All our Nations leaders, God we ask you to send the power of your Holy Spirit filling our leaders with Wisdom and Holy understanding, and love so that our country will return to you and your ways.
• Rob Ebert, Rob is a good friend of Peggy Gain. Rob needs our prayers as he is battling an aggressive cancer.  Prayers of God’s Peace, Strength, Wisdom, and Healing.
• Mary and Lee Knapp. We continue to pray for God’s healing touch for both Lee and Mary.
• Russell Boster update, Russell is Jane Mckinney’s sister who has been battling ovarian cancer. She is continuing Chemo treatments. We continue to lift Russell up to the miracle maker. Health, peace, and strength.
• Maryann Kavanaugh, Peggy Gains mother. Maryann is homebound and lives with chronic debilitating pain due to a dental procedure 7 years ago. We lift Maryann to our God of all possibilities.
