Let’s Help Stan!  As many of you know, Stan Rutkowski, a double amputee, lives life from a wheel chair. He lives by himself and lives off social security. He has to spend many hours every day lying down due to his pressure wounds which he’s been dealing with for over two years. Let’s just say that life is not easy for Stan. I met Stan for lunch a couple of weeks ago and asked him if there was anything our church could help him with to make life a little better or easier. Stan is very humble and said that just the thought of someone caring enough to ask, made him very happy. He never told me of any needs. But since then we have talked with Darlene his sister and we found out that Stan struggles to get by on his social security. So we have decided to make this Christmas a little more special for Stan by collecting a special offering for him. This Sunday the 17th and next Sunday the 24th, we will be collecting a special offering for Stan. You can put the donation in a separate envelope marked “For Stan” or you can make a note on your check in the notation line, “For Stan”. We will get all the money to him on Christmas!

Now this is a secret so let’s keep this quiet. As a matter of fact I have removed Stan from the Blog temporarily so he won’t see this post. We are called to take care of our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Let’s show Stan that we are thinking of him and love him. Thank you in advance! Pastor Kent

This Sunday the 17th!   There is only one service this coming Sunday and it will be at 10:00am. This will be the children’s Christmas Program. Following the program all are invited downstairs to meet Santa and for treats.

PCF will be Leading the December 24th 8:45am service. For those of you who love the Christmas eve service, Jordan Grammer and IUMC will be leading the 11:00pm service this year. Many blessings to all of you. See you soon!

Love, pastor kent
