Dear PCF family, as much as I did not want to post this, it looks inevitable that we are going to have bad weather coming in this weekend, therefore the service this Sunday the 25th is cancelled.

Bonni dug out some old songs this past Wednesday at choir rehearsal and we had another wonderful night of worship and music. I’m looking forward to hearing some of the songs from our past as well as some brand new ones as we move into this new year. I also want to welcome Anna Harris back to the choir. We are blessed to have such a dedicated and talented group. Anna we are glad to have you back with us!

I’m hearing from several of you about your bible study and bible reading adventures which is just wonderful. When you read the Bible with prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to open your Spiritual eyes and mind, that prayer is going to be heard and answered. Get a daily devotional and start your day with God’s words. Let God’s truth become your daily Spiritual vitamin.

Prayer updates:

  • Mike Beatty is at the Anderson Rehab Center located on Center Grove Road in Edwardsville. He is there after a stay at the hospital with pneumonia. Please lift Ann and Mike in your prayers.
  • Agnes Reeder, Mark Reeders mother is in Hospice at Eden Care.
  • Bonni’s mom, Louise (Snookie) Burns is in Hospice at Christian Hospital in St Louis.
  • Ben Schuette, my son who lives at Beverly Farm, fell and broke his collar bone this past week.

Two new prayer requests:

Ryan Stunkel, and his daughter Laken. Both Ryan and Laken are in Rehab for substance abuse problems. Ryan is Margie Stunkel’s son, and Laken is her grand daughter.

Lord all the people on our prayer lists are known by you and we lift them up to you that your will may done to your Glory in all things. Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take.

Blessings, Kent
