There is nothing like getting a confirmation from God that you are on the right track. I get the opportunity to speak to quite a few people every year about the problems they are going through and one of the things I usually talk about is accessing God’s Peace. I say it often that if you can receive God’s Peace you can go through anything in this life and know that eventually it is going to be OK. That sounds good on paper but when you are facing huge problems, sometimes it seems as if peace is just impossible. I know how miserable life can be when you are trying to live without it, I too spent too much time out of God’s Peace at a time in my life. However, there is good news! You can have the Peace and Comfort of God in your life. It is a promise.
I’ve been reading through the bible this year and it never ceases to amaze me how many times God speaks to me through the passages I am reading for that day. This morning I just read this passage from 2nd Corinthians.
2nd Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God!”
I received the peace of God so that I can comfort those in any trouble!
This Christmas it is my prayer that each of you will come to know the living Jesus and experience His Peace and His Comfort. It is real, it is for you, and you can begin receiving it right now in this moment by deciding in your heart that you are ready to surrender to all that God has for you. When you are ready for this type of surrender, Jesus will step in and begin leading you to the Peace that you desire. The journey may not be an easy one, but the path of Jesus is the path to Peace! It is a treasure! This Christmas, surrender all of your life to Jesus and let the journey to this amazing Peace and Comfort begin!
