Good morning PCF family and Friends, I wanted to get the sad news out that Brad Joiner’s brother Larry has gone to be with Jesus. Please lift The Joiner family in this time of sorrow.
We are to encourage one another, build one another up. The battle is real and the spiritual forces behind the battle are real. Stay connected to the vine, and put on the full armor of God! Yesterday I asked a question during the service: If Jesus has been put over all things in heaven and on earth, “How come He doesn’t destroy satan and his angels to put a stop to all the craziness and pain and suffering in the world?” The answer is about love and timing. Jesus is going to come and destroy satan and his angels once and for all, but when that day comes, He is also coming to separate his followers and believers from all the non believers.
Ephesians 1:22-23 God has put everything beneath the authportiy of Jesus Christ and has given Him the highest rank above all others. And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled.
2 Peter 3:9-10 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance!
You see it is up to the church in this age to bring people into God’s Kingdom of grace until the time Jesus returns to restore God’s original plan of paradise where satan will have no more influence over God’s creation. God wants everyone to be saved, but now in the church age it is up to the church to bring people into the knowledge of our Lord. What a grand plan and what huge responsibility! Let us not grow weary with this mission! Amen.
