What a beautiful Saturday! And tomorrow is going to be beautiful as well. Make it a magnificent day by coming to join the JOYFUL PCF family at 9:00am, 1000 University Drive in Esic. Great choir music, friendly faces but most important you will be in the presence of God and the Holy Spirit. Tomorrow is going to be powerful! I am going to read and talk about some powerful words from the bible that can change your destiny! I told Jennifer and Al Kaburick that Leah going off to college has awakened a call in me to speak to the young people but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Christians are called to be mentors to these young people and I am not just talking about chronological age I am talking about our Spiritual age as well. I can assure you you wont want to miss tomorrows service.
I am going to start reading the “getting to know me better” papers soon. I will inform you what Sunday yours will be read. Please make sure you are working on a paper telling us something about yourself that will help the members of our congregation know a little more about you. Something interesting, a testimony, something that will open the book of your life to your PCF family. I am going to be persistent so bring them tomorrow or email them to me kent@bonniburns.com.
Prayers:
- I know there was a tragic accident last night in Edwardsville where two young workers lost their life. I do not know their names yet but God knows so we need to lift up the families of these two young men.
- Leah Kaburick, for God’s wisdom and protection as she starts her first year in college away from home.
- David Chestnut, Ella Ahrens uncle is in His final days and we ask for God’s peace and joy to fill David as he is in this final transition. Let him be filled with the love and hope of Jesus our Lord.
- Bill Powell has had is bypass surgery and is still in the ICU recovering. WE pray for God’s healing touch, His peace, and a quick and full recovery.
- Sue Strubhart, Sue is an employee of ours who is in the hospital and needs open heart surgery. Please lift Sue to God’s healing hands.
- Gay Kell, Krista’s mom, is having an aortic heart valve replacement surgery on August 29th at Christian North East Hospital. Let’s turn this over to our Lord Jesus and ask for a successful surgery and a rapid recovery.
- Debbie Creamer, Continued prayers for the healing of Debbie after her cancer surgery on her throat.
- Verlene Schwalb, Verlene battles something called Multiple Myeloma which is cancer of the bone marrow. She is currently on treatment, and it makes her ill and weak. Lets lift Verlene to God’s healing hands and ask for rapid success with the treatment and for less side affects.
- Jason Burton, Jason continues to got good news with his latest treatments. Keep lifting Jason for continued healing and strength.
- Pray for the people God is sending to our Church family. God is trusting us to provide them with a Joyful, loving, Spiritual Home.
- Jim Ebersoldt, We will continue to lift Jim and Sue in prayer. Jim is experiencing some serious health issues with heart and liver.
- The people of Ukraine and Russia who do not want the war.
