Dear PCF family and friends, I always start to get excited when the weekend gets here because I know I only have to wait one more day to see all of you when we come together before the Lord to sing, worship, hug, and enjoy the presence of the Holy Spirit. As most of you are aware, we have grown and have several new families and individuals joining us each Sunday. Make a special effort to reach out to these new families to make them feel at home. You never know what God has planned with all the new relationship possibilities these new folks bring to us. God has sent them to us, so let us welcome them with open arms and love.
It is the time of year to be grateful and thankful and so I want to express my gratefulness to all of you who make PCF such an amazing church. I pray you are being blessed each and every Sunday and throughout the week.
This Sunday I’ll be focusing on a simple scripture: Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.” There is a treasure waiting to be discovered in all scriptures. May God open our hearts to all He has planned for us.

Community Hope Center Toy Giveaway – October 16th – December 3rd Provides toys to area families during the Center’s Annual Toy Giveaway. If you would like to donate new, unwrapped toys for toddlers through 12 years old, please place items in the toy barrels at the church. Gift ideas include dolls, sports equipment, crafts, and activity kits, Legos, and room.
2023 East St. Louis Charter High School – November 1st – November 26th The SIUE East St. Louis Charter Hight School welcomes your support for its 2023 Angel Tree Giving Campaign. We hope to raise $15,000 this year to provide gift boxes to all 120 of our amazing CHS scholars. These gift boxes help meet some of the basic needs of CHS scholars, so they can continue to come to school ready and willing to learn. You can contribute by cash or check made payable to ESIC Baptist Church with CHS in the memo line. Please place your donation in the envelopes provided and place in the basket.

- Betsy Kelleher, is having heart Cath surgery ton Monday the 20th. May God’s peace and love and healing be with her. Also please keep Betsy’s son in prayer, he is having some serious health issues with his liver.
- Wendy Wickham, Wendy will be having her knee surgery on 11/29. She is having a cartilage implant procedure. We pray she will have a successful surgery and a rapid recovery.
- Rosemary Ford, Continued prayers for healing and God’s love and peace as she recovers from a severe leg infection.
- Nadeen Schuette, her chemo therapy continues to be going very smoothly, she is not getting sick after her treatments and has been doing very good! Thank you for your continued prayers.
- Brody Sedlacek, Shawna says Brody is trooper going thru his cancer treatments. I’t’s a lot for an 8 year old to carry. Please continue to lift Brody and his family in prayer as he continues his treatments.
- Micah McKinney, Please lift this young man to our healing father. Micah will be entering treatment for lymphoma.
