As I write this blog it is 10:42pm and 71 degrees in Jerusalem Israel. It is 2:42 pm here and 100 degrees. The good news is by Sunday the temp is supposed to drop and get nice again so get ready for a wonderful time of worship this Sunday with your PCF family. Last night was Choir rehearsal and the choir is sounding real good. A great time of worship.

For Kenny Wrinkle and Al Kaburick and anyone else who must work outside in this weather, take it easy, this too shall pass!

What is a good way to study the bible?  Pick one of your favorite bible stories or pick one of your favorite bible characters and learn everything you can about that story or character. Do a Google search and look up all the referenced scriptures that you find. If you are using a study bible, look up and read several of the referenced scriptures that go with the verse you are reading. Also there are many bible translations that may help you understand certain scriptures better. The easiest way to do that is to go to www.biblegateway.com and with the click of a button you can read the verse you are reading in about about 15-20 different translations.
