What is the plan for Praise Community Fellowship moving forward for this Summer? As it stands right now I plan on continuing the Sunday online services. I know Bonni and the singers have discussed the possibility of getting together to sing either recorded or live for the online services but this has not been determined yet.
I spoke with Nelleke this past week and the TWIGS team is on go for providing lunches this summer for the kids we have been helping the past several years. Nelleke said that the team has a plan to keep everyone safe with face masks, gloves, and disinfectant materials. And, thanks to a very generous donation, we will be able to provide TWIGS with a $2,000 check and have $500 for our team to purchase additional food for the kids. So a big thank you to Nelleke, the TWIGS volunteers and Kate Thornton.
What can you do for PCF at this time? The best thing you can do to help PCF is practice discipleship every day. The world needs to know the life changing reality of Jesus and His teachings. You can be a significant part of helping others to know Him by the way you live your daily life. You can do that through prayer, by demonstrating Jesus’ teachings in your life, talking to people about Him, and inviting people to listen to our services. Our world has some very serious problems and the best solution is Jesus!
This Sunday! I will be looking at the question, “Is There a Better Way to Live?” I hope you will join me Sunday morning at 10:30am on the Praise Community Fellowship Facebook page. Also continue to think about these two very deep questions: 1.) What am I living for? 2.) Who am I living for?
Our Prayer List Updates:
Marie Mudd, Barb Joiner’s mother. Marie fell earlier this week and broke her hip and her femur. She has had surgery and is in recovery. Please continue to lift Marie and Barb since now they both have the same injury!
Mike Rodgers, Lori’s husband came home from an 11 hour neck and back surgery and was progressing well and then began having trouble moving again. Since that time he has had a heart attack and now needs heart surgery. Please lift Mike and Lori to Gods healing hands, His strength and Peace.
Mary Berry, I have spoken with Mary and she appreciates our prayers. She has had more tests regarding her breast cancer and the news has been good in that it has not spread. Please continue to lift Mary to God’s healing grace and strength.
Ben Stunkle, because Ben has been moved to an acute care facility to continue rehab and healing from his accident, his mom Kyle McCracken Stunkle can no longer visit him during this Covid virus outbreak. We lift both Ben and Kyle to Gods Grace and healing love during this difficult time.
Barb Joiner, Continued prayers for healing and Gods peace and wisdom.
Don and Lois Kruckeberg, Denise Reeders parents. Denise has brought her mom home and is currently taking care of her there. Her dad Don fell and ended up in the hospital the same day she brought her mom home. Don is doing better today and should be going back to Eden Care anytime. Caregiving is one of the hardest jobs on earth especially when it comes to family members so we ask for Gods strength, patience, and wisdom for Mark and Denise during these challenging times.
Russell Boster update, Russell is Jane Mckinney’s sister who has been battling ovarian cancer. She is continuing Chemo treatments. We continue to lift Russell up to the miracle maker. Health, peace, and strength.
Maryann Kavanaugh, Peggy Gains mother. Maryann is homebound and lives with chronic debilitating pain due to a dental procedure 7 years ago. We lift Maryann to our God of all possibilities.
