Dear PCF family, 4 days ago we gathered as a Christian family and we worshipped the greatest event that has ever occured in the history of the world. Jesus rose from the dead and is now alive and active sitting at the right hand of God the Father in heaven where he is interceding for all of us constantly, 24/7, 365 days a year. He never stops. He is there right now as you are reading this interceding for His people. Four days ago and where are our hearts today?
Are you still celebrating? Do you still realize what has been accomplished through the sacrifice of Jesus? Or have the troubles of the week already taken you down? That is exactly what the enemy does. He comes to steal your joy, kill your dreams and hopes and destroy your faith and confidence. Listen, that is his strategy but you can overcome that strategy by claiming what Jesus has accomplished for you. Jesus is your King and your savior, He loves you. He has died for you. The only thing that is keeping Jesus’ power from dominating your life is having a weak connection to the vine. When you feel the devil getting the upper hand there is only one cure and that is to go to prayer, go to the bible, get with other Christians that will pray with you and for you. We were not meant to do this battle alone. That is why we gather. And the gathering should not just be on a Sunday for an hour but throughout the week. The harder your circumstances the more time you need to spend in prayer, bible reading and being with other believers. Read your bible daily! Pray without ceasing! Call another believer, ask and you shall receive, seek and you will find, and knock and the door will be opened! Don’t do the battle alone. That is why our prayer requests are so important:

- Tom Gain, Tom is having eye surgery on both eyes tomorrow. He has a condition that is making him see very poorly and they will replace both of his natural lenses tomorrow with implants to correct the situation.
- Richard Reed, that God will continue to heal him from his stroke and that God will fill his life with new direction and wisdom.
- MiMi Littlefoot and her son KiiVon, pray for Gods intervention and healing and wisdom.
- Cody Bilderback, As I mentioned about a week ago Cody and Dustin are pregnant but is having some problems with her pregnancy. She is very concerned so please lift Cody and Dustin and the baby to God’s healing grace.
- Marla Grant, Marla has been out for about three weeks due to new high blood pressure problems and other health concerns. She is still having tests to try and determine the cause. Please lift Marla to God’s healing touch.
- Nadeen Schuette, healing and strength during her ongoing chemo treatments.
- Chad Collins, Chad is a good friend of the Burns family. Chad suffered a heart attack and is in the hospital recovering.
- Wendy Wickham, we are adding Wendy back for healing prayers for her knee because she has had a bit of a set back.
- Fred Stine a friend of Bonnie Rutkowski, has been diagnosed with advanced cancer.
- Rick Coy, Rick has a carotid artery vascular problem that needs more diagnosis but it is affecting his blood pressure and other functions.
- Jennifer Rinkle’s uncle has just been diagnosed with colon cancer.
- MIke Rodgers, Lori’s husband diagnosed with prostate cancer.
- Jane Hyten back on our prayer list. Her MSA condition has aggressively affected her at all levels.
- Chris Fultz, Faye Heuchert’s Nephew in ICU for severe infection.
- Dustin Bilderback’s sister who is in treatment for cancer.
- Brody Sedlacek, 8 year old in cancer treatment.
God we lift all these people on our prayer list to you because you are the perfect healer. We ask that you open their hearts to your word, your truth, your love and your ability to change things in their lives, and for this we praise you!
Praise Community Fellowship is a very Joyful, Prayerful church! We meet Sunday mornings at 10:30am at the Esic Worship Center located at 1000 University Drive Edwardsville near the old YMCA .
