Not yet! Still about 6 weeks to go….but the resurrection is coming!
Dear PCF family, the choir had a very productive practice last night and are prepared for this Sunday’s worship service. I’m looking forward seeing many of you on Sunday.
Service arrangements for Gwen Eberhart: Our dear Gwen passed away this passed week after being in hospice a short time. There will be a visitation this Saturday at the church beginning at 11:00am and a memorial service following at 12:30. There will be a luncheon following the service. Esic Worship Center 1000 University Drive, Edwardsville.
Hosea 4:6. “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests!” The bible has so much vital information in it for the benefit of our lives, not reading it daily is like trying to go without food to nourish our bodies. Prayer list update:
- Dustin Builderback, Dustin just found out his sister Tracy, who he has not seen in a while, has cancer and is not doing well. I spoke with Dustin this morning and he really needs our prayers. He wants to reunite with Tracy and of course is very concerned about her health. His sister lives in Tennessee where he is from and he is planning on leaving today but he is also experiencing truck problems. Dustin and Cody rarely miss a Sunday and their son Lance always helps Robin in Sunday school. Please lift Dustin to God’s wisdom, strength, and favor!
- Sheryl Burian has come down with another bad upper respiratory infection and is on some heavy duty medication and also needs our healing prayers.
- Ruth Lange had her surgery this past Friday. She is home in recovery. Her surgery lasted 8 hours.
- Patty, Ella Ahrens sister who is battling acute leukemia.
- Mary and Lee Knapp, Mary has a pinched nerve in her lower back and her are doctors trying to figure out what procedure to do that may help her with her pain .
- Wendy Wickham, recovering from Knee surgery.
- Bob Ahrens, Ella’s husband Bob has had a chronic cough for 10 months and so far they just cannot figure out the cause.
- Betsy Kelleher will be having heart surgery coming up soon.
- Nadeen Schuette, in treatment for cancer
- Brody Sedlacek, an 8 year old going thru his cancer treatments.
- Micah McKinney, being treated for lymphoma.
God we lift all these people on our prayer list to you because you are the perfect healer. We ask that you open their hearts to your word, your truth, your love and your ability to change things in people’s lives.
