Let it be known PCF family that we are not only a Joyful church but a Prayerful church!

This past Sunday we heard about the power of prayer. Hannah poured out her heart to God for a son after being childless for several years. The Lord heard her prayer and gave her a son she name Samuel, who became a major player in the old testament. He grew in stature and in the knowledge of God and he himself became a prayer warrior. We find these words from him in 1 Samuel 12:23: “Far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you” Samuel said these words after he confronted the people of Israel with all their sins including the sin of asking for a king when God was supposed to be their king. They were crushed when Samuel told them the truth about how they had chosen poorly, but then reassured them with these now famous words, “Far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you.”

We need to be praying for one another often, it is the power of God given to us. When we pray we invoke the power of heaven into situations and others lives. So, as we grow together as a church, let us become a powerful prayerful and Joyful church that will produce changed lives! Lives that will become a testimony so that others will see what the Lord has done! Amen.
