Good afternoon PCF, The lasagna dinner will be held this coming Saturday at the church at 5:00PM. Our mission for this dinner will be the Community Hope Center. Here is a link to their website: https://chcil.org/. We will be collecting cash donations for this mission. Besides being a way to raise funds for wonderful organizations in our area, these dinners provide an opportunity to get to know other members of our church family. See you Saturday!
Special prayer request: I just found out my brother-in-law Jim Gabor has been taken to the ER with symptoms of a mild stroke. He has requested prayers. I spoke with him and he is currently doing fine except he is very nervous and worried. Jim is married to Carolyn, Bonni’s sister. Please pray for Jimmy. Thank you.
Everyday, 24 hours a day, we are walking amongst God’s Holy and loving Angels sent to minister to us.
- Hebrews 1:14 “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Who will inherit Salvation? Those who put their faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian you have ministering Angels.
- Psalm 91:11-12 “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone”. This verse suggests that angels are tasked with guarding believers.
- Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” This verse suggests that Children have angels appointed to them. But it is important to note that Angels are agents of God and carry out His instructions, not their own will. We are not to worship Angels. We worship the one God of the Universe who is God as a Father, a son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity.
Take time each and every day to be with God. After all, you are going to spend eternity with Him. I don’t know about you but I want to get to know Him as much as possible. Without knowing Him we miss out on more of that which really brings us true Joy, Peace, and Love.
