Happy Thursday PCF family and Friends! I am going to redo last Sunday’s message today at 3:00! The message I gave this past Sunday did not go thru so I am re-recording it today. Now I know most of you won’t be able to join me live but that’s ok because it will be recorded on our Facebook page and you will be able to watch and listen at your convenience. And, please do listen to this message because even though we are talking about Abraham in the book of Genesis, there is wisdom found in these ancient stories for us today! I am still waiting to get the information I need to see if we can begin meeting together in person on Sundays. I will let you know as soon as I can get the thumbs up! It doesn’t matter what circumstances you find yourself in, God knows exactly where you are at all times and knows exactly what you will need to do to accomplish His will which will always turn out to be a blessing. The catch is staying close enough to Him so that you can understand His instructions. If you are distant from God it will be next to impossible to get the instructions necessary to lead you to higher ground. The number one way to access God and get closer to Him is by desiring to get close to Him with all your heart and all your strength. You cannot access God intellectually! He is found by those who earnestly seek Him and desire to know Him and are willing to surrender to His will! Love, pastor kent
Prayers:
Mike Rodgers, Lori’s husband is scheduled to have his final stint surgery November the 4th. Lori says Mike was able to drive for the first time in months and seems to be feeling better which is great news. Let’s continue lifting Mike for God’s healing hands and strength and God’s peace to Lori.
All the children in the world who are suffering from hunger and poverty who need to know your son Jesus and His love. We know that we are the body of Jesus and that it is up to us, empowered by you, to bring your love and relief to these hurting children. Give us the courage and wisdom to be the answer.
Lord we ask you to guide our church family to a facility where we can come together again soon.
God I ask you to empower your people to be strong and to have courage and to send us the power and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit in these crazy times. Help us to focus on Jesus and His teachings and not on the news of the day.
The workers at Beverly Farm and the residents, that God will provide protection and wisdom and His peace and Joy for all those who live and work there.
The leaders of our country, Pray for God’s wisdom and power and the Holy Spirit to direct and lead all those who are serving to lead this country.
