This Sunday the PCF family will gather for our Christmas service. Music, communion, fellowship. We will meet at 10:30am our usual time slot. We meet at 800 North main St. Edwardsville in the Immanuel Methodist church. This will be the last service for PCF in 2018.

For hundreds of years the coming of Jesus was predicted by prophets in the old testament and when the day of Jesus’ birth was finally fulfilled it came in a very unassuming quiet way. It has been over 2000 years since that prophecy was fulfilled and now there is a remaining prophecy of Jesus’ return. No one knows when, but when He does come it is going to be the most life changing events in the worlds history. The first time he came as an unassuming little child, but the next time he comes he will be coming as the King of the universe. It is a day when all people all over the world are going to realize that what is spoken in the bible is true. It is a day when all truth will be revealed and when men will finally understand the correct order of priorities. Everything that we deem so important in this world today will take its proper place. Much of what we make so important and valuable today will immediately become worthless garbage. Jesus will become the number 1 priority and all of His will and teachings will follow. Without knowing and understanding Jesus this event will seem like hell to some but to the believer, this day will be the beginning of an eternity of Peace, Love, Joy and Restoration!

Beverly Farm Gifts: We need all Beverly farm Gifts by this Thursday. We will be rehearsing this Thursday at 7:30pm in the sanctuary and gifts can be brought to the church then so Lori and Krista can get them to Beverly farm. If that is not possible please call Sally McLaughlin or myself so we can arrange a time to pick them up. Thank you for everyone who is helping make Christmas special for some of the Beverly farm residents.  Sally’s Cell . 618-978-3490  Kent’s Cell 618-334-3575.
