Dear PCF family and Friends, I was thinking of our church family today and I want to make sure that no one is feeling left out, or that you feel like you have been deserted. I can assure you have not been forgotten and it is not my intention to leave anyone out of the loop. I know there are some that don’t do Facebook, and may not even be on a computer. If you know of someone who needs contact from me please let me know. There is something I call drift. You fishermen out there know exactly what that is: You find a great fishing spot on a lake but the wind is blowing and it takes work to keep the boat positioned so you can stay on the fish. If you don’t take corrective action you will be far from where the fish are very quickly. There is “drift” also in your Spiritual life. It is so easy to get distracted and put Jesus and His teachings on the back burner until you have more time. I know because I have done just that too many times in my life. Everyone is susceptible to that kind of spiritual drift. You stop reading your bible, you stop praying, you stop watching the sermons, you “drift” away from having Jesus at the center of your life. It is only when Jesus is the center, like the axel on a wheel, that you can have that deep peace and wisdom that only God can give. Let’s not let anyone drift out of our circle of love and hope!

Sally McLaughlin has asked that I get this info to all who have drawn names for Christmas gifts to Beverly farm. She plans on taking the gifts to Beverly Farm Next Sunday or Monday if possible. The gift should be wrapped and placed in a plastic bag (Garbage bag) with name of individual and the cottage. Thank you for all the Santa’s helpers who are participating in this annual event. If you cannot get the bag to Sally let me know and I will be happy to pick up your bag and get it to her.

I got a message from Janet Fisher today, Janet is the Daughter of Floyd and Deloris Fisher. Janet says her mom has tested positive for the virus along with her brother Bill and sister in-law and her sister Debbie.  Deloris is currently very fatigued and is coughing frequently. Please lift all of them to the healing and protecting grace of Jesus.

Stay in touch!  I love you. Sincerely, pastor kent
