A reminder to the friends and family of PCF, there is no service tomorrow due to a COVID outbreak. I have learned that there are several people including myself who have tested positive for COVID since last Sunday’s Easter service. I pray that all are mild cases and we will all will be back at it soon.
I will go live tomorrow morning at 9:00am just to let those who normally watch online know what is going on when they tune in. Hopefully the word has gotten out to those who may not receive the blog that there is no service tomorrow.
I was reading the book of Acts today and there is one thing that stood out to me as I read about the beginning of the church, God’s truth may be hindered and fought against strongly, but it will never be suppressed or buried. As crazy as the world is getting there is an uprising of truth that is still shining through. And it will continue to shine and illuminate all lies and deceptions.
John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Listen to what Jesus told Saul on his way to Damascus to persecute believers in Jesus:
Acts 26:15-18. So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
(Knowing Jesus and His teachings is knowing the truth. Don’t be lead astray with the whims of the world!)
