Mike Rodgers had his heart surgery and is still in the hospital recovering. He will require another surgery after he gains his strength so we will continue to lift Mike and Lori.
The latest news we have on Dr. Yablonski’s son Elliot, who has special needs, is that he is still in the hospital on a ventilator with COVID. Please continue your prayers for the Yablonski family.
Mary Berry has had her surgery and she is home healing. Please continue to pray for her full recovery.
We had a good Zoom board meeting this past Monday. At this time we are going to continue our services on Facebook on Sundays until the weather cools off a bit and then we will meet at Glik Park. Just stay posted to the blog for updates. I have listed the organizations we will be helping this month. The reason we can continue to help such wonderful organizations is because of our generous and faithful PCF family. We are blessed to be operating 100% debt free. Since our church has no salaries and extremely minimal expenses, we are able to continue to bless people with financial support.
For those of you who have been so faithful sending your offerings please note there is a new address. The address is: Savannah Halbe, 3486 Manassas Drive, Edwardsville Il. 62025. Savannah is our financial secretary.
- The board has agreed to give shoe coupons again to our TWIGS kids. We will distribute the coupons before school starts in August.
- We will be sending support to Beverly Farm during this trying time of COVID which has placed a huge burden on the employees.
- We will be sending a donation to Edwardsville Neighbors in Need.
Sally Mclauchlan would like to share the following information with the PCF Family. She is involved with the Good Samaritan House in Granite City. The Good Samaritan House enriches the lives of women and children who are experiencing homelessness by offering them opportunities to become self-sufficient while supporting them in a loving Christian environment. They are going to be opening a new shelter. There is going to be a ribbon cutting ceremony August 31st. Sally will be there and if you would like to join her here is the info:

Volunteer work day July 18th 9am- 12pm there is something for every age to do.
We are looking for volunteers to stay with the families in the house, various hours. Mentors for women, pray groups, tutors etc…. If you have a talent to share with these families please contact me 618-974-1901.
