“You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word!”
Dear PCF family and friends, blessings abound for those who Trust and Believe in the Lord. This coming Sunday we are going to hear stories of good news, uplifting, motivating, and real. And, we will be sharing communion and having a Baptism! It is going to be a full service of celebration! Bring the family, come celebrate the fullness of worship and the blessing of being amongst believers and followers of Jesus.
Homework: I am going to start something new at our services. I want to give a short introduction and story about each of our PCF family members. I want each of you to write something interesting about yourself, send it to me in an email, (kent@bonniburns.com) or drop them in the offering on Sunday. Mention things that most people wouldn’t know about you. You can list what you did or still do for a living, hobbies, passions, skills, languages you speak, travels, something you have overcome because of getting to know Jesus. Testimonies would be great! Each Sunday, I will take one of these and introduce one of the responses I get back. I want people at PCF to get to know one another better. Who will be the first one featured?
Young people: I see a critical need of getting more people Kiley, Brett and Savannah’s age to church. This is the age where young couples are starting to have babies and many of these young parents have never been exposed to the Gospel of Jesus. The one thing we must overcome is the stigma of what these young people “think” church is. I’m open for suggestions. Bringing a child up in church is so important, especially when the church is like PCF, full of love and encouragement and having some amazing people available for Christian life advice. Let’s add this to our PCF prayer list, for God to send us young couples that we can introduce Jesus to and help them on their Spiritual Journey.
