As of 11:00am today our Grandson Cooper is out of surgery and in recovery. He is doing well and we thank everyone for their prayers and thank God for watching over him. The picture above is pre-surgery this morning about 7:00am

This Sunday we will be live at 10:30am to continue our Genesis Journey.  Again, these ancient stories speak loud and clear to all of us today! We will be starting the story of Abraham and the profound influence this man of history has had not only in ancient times but what his story speaks to believers today. Join me Sunday 10:30AM Facebook live.

The board met this past Monday and one of the topics was about getting back to church! I spoke with David Roderick, the new pastor at Immanuel Methodist, to find out what the future looks like there as far as getting back in the sanctuary. Currently they are following guidelines from their Bishop and “in sanctuary” services are still on hold. David did tell me that once they are allowed to go back to meeting in the church that the Immanuel congregation will probably be having two Sunday morning services with time in between the two services to clean and disinfect the sanctuary. What that means for us is, Sunday morning services probably won’t be feasible. We are welcome to use the facility but will have to decide on a different time slot and/or day to have our gatherings. At this time no decisions have been made because of the many unknowns. So, until we can formulate a solid plan we will continue to meet online unless we have a nice weather Sunday where we could still meet at the park. If anyone has thoughts or ideas you can contact one of our board members or me.
