Dear PCF family, blessings to everyone. Here is what is happening this week at PCF.
- Tonight Men’s Group meets at 6:30pm at the church. All men are invited this group has many discussions about the role and challenges Christian men all share.
- Wednesday Choir rehearsal at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary all are invited to come and listen.
- Sunday Worship 10:30am
Fill your prayer bowls that God keeps in heaven! Praying is simply calling on God to act in some fashion, to enter into our world and our circumstances. We pray in faith since we cannot see God.
The definition of Faith in Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” A perfect example of faith is when I plant flower bulbs in the fall, knowing that in due time the bulbs I have planted will emerge into something beautiful even though when I am planting them the cold is coming and the summer life in all the plants is dying. When I plant my bulbs there is no indication that there is life that will emerge. But I have confidence in what I am hoping for even though there is nothing that I can see at the time. Therefore when I pray, I think about the bulbs I plant in the fall, they come to life and bloom in the spring, as will the prayers I am sending to God. Continue to pray for God is receiving our prayers and knows exactly what needs to happen and when. Sometimes the best prayer is simply asking God to enter into a situation and let Him decide what needs to happen. Faith!
Our prayer list and updates.
- Marla Grant is still under doctors care. They still really don’t know what is causing her discomfort and dizziness. So we will continue to lift Marla to God’s healing grace.
- Rick Coy will be having surgery in a couple of weeks to have a stint put in his carotid artery.
- Chris Fultz is still in the hospital needing lots of care for a severe infection. Chris is the nephew of Faye Heuchert.
- Wendy Wickham is still on crutches and in a knee brace and is in physical therapy from her knee surgery that took place some time ago.
- Cody Bilderback is having a DNC because her pregnancy has terminated, please lift Dustin and Cody to God’s healing grace.
- Chad Collins, a friend of the Burns family is in serious condition from his heart attack several weeks ago. He is now in need of a heart and kidney transplant.
- Richard Reed, that God will continue to heal him from his stroke and that God will fill his life with new direction and wisdom.
- MiMi Littlefoot and her son KiiVon, pray for Gods intervention and healing and wisdom. MiMi is a nurse at the nursing home where Richard Reed is staying.
- Nadeen Schuette, healing and strength during her ongoing chemo treatments.
- Fred Stine a friend of Bonnie Rutkowski, has been diagnosed with advanced cancer.
- Jennifer Rinkle’s uncle has just been diagnosed with colon cancer.
- MIke Rodgers, Lori’s husband diagnosed with prostate cancer.
- Jane Hyten back on our prayer list. Her MSA condition has aggressively affected her at all levels.
- Dustin Bilderback’s sister who is in treatment for cancer.
- Brody Sedlacek, 8 year old in cancer treatment.God we lift all these people on our prayer list to you because you are the perfect healer. We ask that you open their hearts to your word, your truth, your love and your ability to change things in their lives, and for this we praise you!
Praise Community Fellowship is a very Joyful, Prayerful church! We meet Sunday mornings at 10:30am at the Esic Worship Center located at 1000 University Drive Edwardsville near the old YMCA .
