Dear friends and family of Praise Community Fellowship, I invite you to gather with us tomorrow morning at 9:00am for worship and communion.
The world is shaking over the war in Ukraine. What is the obligation of the church in such critical times? Prayer! We must be praying for God to intervene and send legions of mighty angels into the midst of this terrible, unnecessary, war to protect the innocent and disable the machinery of war. Christians all over the world must be in constant prayer for God’s intervention and to provide humanitarian assistance to those suffering.
It is a time to light the world brightly with the love of Jesus and His teachings. I look forward to seeing all of you in church tomorrow morning, Sincerely, kent
A reminder of our Sunday March 13th Family Dinner at 5:00pm at the church. Please notify Nelleke of the number of people you will have with you for the dinner. We are getting the food ordered. This will be a night of fellowship introducing family and friends to the PCF family. The PCF singers will provide music and I will share a brief welcome. We will be collecting newborn diapers and other newborn necessities for this dinner. These items will go to new mothers in need. This is not going to be a service, we will have our normal church service in the morning. This dinner is a time to be grateful and bring family and friends to be introduced to the joyful PCF family.
We are still looking for a space to continue operate our TWIGS program. We are losing our space at the Cottonwood church building due to African Vision of Hope’s expansion. If anyone has ideas or suggestions please contact me, Gary Watson or Nelleke Weese. We are looking for a dedicated space to store our food and equipment. We are currently in a space approximately 26 x 22 ft with two large refrigerators, 4 shelving units and two large tables for packing. Easy access would be preferred.
Our prayers:
- The people of Ukraine.
- Page Burton, Paige has recently gone to the hospital for a hip surgery but the operation was delayed due to some other issues that became apparent as she was being prepped for surgery. We lift Paige to God’s healing touch and His peace during this time as more tests are run.
- Patti Franklin, Patti has recently had some tests and we lift her to God’s Grace and peace as she waits for the final results.
- Jason Burton, Jason is a good friend of Gary and Cathy Watson. Jason is in his 40’s with a young family and has been diagnosed with cancer. He is unable to work at this time and he is the sole provider. We ask for God’s intervention into this situation, that His Glory, Peace and Healing will come and lift this family out of their worries and fears.
- Don Kruckeberg, Continued prayers for God’s Healing peace and strength. We pray that Don may be surrounded with God’s love and peace.
- Ray Queen, a resident at Beverly Farm who has recently been put into hospice care. We pray for God’s peace for Ray and His family in this time of transition..
