God I’m Listening, Help Me to Hear!
Good Evening PCF family, I have a couple of prayer requests. This morning I mentioned that it had been kind of a rough start because of circumstances that I had on my mind so I wanted to let you know what I was talking about.
Bonni’s mom was taken by ambulance this morning to the hospital right as we were starting the service because of heart issues and breathing difficulties. She has been admitted to the ICU at Christian North East Hospital in St. Louis. She is going to need a pacemaker which is scheduled to be done tomorrow morning.
Barb Joiner needs our continued prayers.
I spoke with Paige Burton today and she said that one of our classmates from the class of 74, Debbie Mercer, wants to be added to our prayer list. Debbie has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that has moved to her lungs and she is receiving her fourth bout of chemo while in the hospital. She said once she is released and gets stabilized, she wants to attend our church. Paige has offered to bring her when that time arrives.
I was informed this morning that Art Hansen is back in the hospital with breathing issues.
Listen, sometimes the news is not always what we want to hear, but I remind you of our first song today: “I sought the Lord, and He heard, and He answered me!” Let’s use the tool God gave us and lift all the people on our prayer list. When we do that, God hears and God responds in a way that will accomplish His mission which is to save as many of His children as possible but He is relying on us doing our part.
It was an amazing Service this morning! Thank you choir and thank you Darlene for sharing your powerful testimony. We are all so blessed to have one another. Let’s keep on loving, and praying, and blessing and lifting one another as the Holy Spirit directs us. He is speaking to all of you! Be still and know He God! Love you all Kent
