Tomorrow 9:00am, 1000 University Drive Edwardsville, the worship forecast looks amazing! Temp in the upper 60’s, partly sunny, choir is ready to go, sermon is ready. I am looking forward to seeing my joyful PCF family.

God’s word, once understood,  offers us something that cannot be found from any other source in the world.  These are the treasures of knowing and walking with Jesus: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Goodness, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. You cannot develop these traits on your own, they are a gift that is given to those who stay attached to the vine. God’s word offers believers “Supernatural Power” for living. Walking with Jesus gives us power in our life to overcome the misery of obstacles in life.

Important Updates: Our fall PCF family dinner has been moved to Sunday October 23rd at 5:00pm. I goofed and did not check the calendar prior to announcing this dinner last week. So the new date is the 23rd. It is going to be a wonderful Lasagna dinner and as always, we will need to get a head count so Nelleke will be taking reservations. Also it is hopeful that we all can invite some neighbors, friends, or family members that currently do not have a church home. How could anyone resist the great PCF Joyful hospitality?
