Dear PCF family, I know there is possibility of snow and wintry weather coming in tonight and tomorrow morning. It’s frustrating because it depends on which weather source you look at. So we will make a decision in the morning after I can observe for myself if we are going to have service tomorrow. Watch for the blog.

The Fried Chicken Dinner will be provided by Moonlight restaurant this year! The dinner is set for Saturday February 22nd at 5:00pm. We need your reservations for this dinner by this Sunday! You can call Nelleke at 618-954-4155 to reserve your seats. These dinners are at no cost to you. PCF provides the meal. We do have a mission that we raise money for as a free will offering. This dinner’s mission project is Refuge 4 kids which is based in Madison county. According to their website Madison County ranks in the highest number of children entering foster care per capita in the entire state. We will have someone representing this organization with us at the dinner so we can learn more. We will be accepting monetary donations for this cause.

Good news: Mike Portell had his surgery yesterday to correct spinal issues that were causing loss of use of his left leg. He is out of surgery as of last night and doing good!  He texted me this morning and will be having physical therapy beginning today and then will be sent to rehab next week. Great news Mike!

Update on Mary Knapp, she is  back in the hospital at Anderson and needs our prayers as they continue to fight some infection and also some low blood sugar issues. Please lift Mary and her husband Leland.

I am so grateful that our church is growing and we are able to bring God’s truth and love to all those who come into our family. We have our work cut out for us as we move forward but we have the power of God and the Holy Spirit, to guide us into the future.
