Praise Community Fellowship will meet this Sunday December 23rd at 10:30am at 800 North main Street Edwardsville in the Immanuel United Methodist Church. This will be our last meeting this year. Bonni has assembled a 10 voice choir for this service which will be filled with music and a message and communion.

Joy, Love, and Peace You hear a lot about these three words during the Christmas season. But for many Christmas is a sad, lonely time. Memories of loved ones who are no longer with us, memories of better times, loss of youth and there are many other reasons why people don’t experience the Joy, Love, and Peace that is sung and talked about this time of year. I am going to address this issue this Sunday and give a reason and a solution to these feelings. Jesus comes to us with power and a message that will remove the walls of loneliness, sadness, and hopelessness. I believe the sadness and depression that is prevalent this time of year can be removed by many when Jesus’ message is fully understood. His coming into this world changes everything for those who know Him and trust Him and understand why He came to us! Jesus is the way the truth and the life.

What will 2019 bring the Praise Community Fellowship Family? Our prayers to the living God is what will lead us to our highest calling as a Christian family. I am praying for God’s guidance and for His wisdom as we move into 2019. I ask that all of you pray that God will open the doors He wants us to enter, to close the doors that He wants us to avoid, and to fill us with His Holy Spirit so that we can be a bright light and a beacon of hope to those who need to know Jesus. I am asking Him to show us how to reach more of his hurting children. Bring us the broken, the lost, the sad, and the hurting and equip this PCF family to be able to offer more hope, more love and more solutions to these people in the coming year. In Jesus name, Amen.
