Praise Community Fellowship will be having a remote live service this Sunday at 10:30am on our Facebook page. These services are done live from my home so that we can still meet and share Gods word. Please get the word out to all our friends and family members. Some of them may need help in logging into this service.  Go to Facebook and log in and then do a search for the Praise Community Fellowship page. When you get our page on Sunday morning you will see a live shot of my living room area about 5 minutes before the service begins. At 10:30am we begin.

I hope you are using these extraordinary times to read your bible, pray, and reflect on all the blessings God has given and continues to give to you. This past Wednesday I did a service on choices and love. Most of us have more time at home during this lock down. You have a choice as to how you will use this time. My recommendation is to develop a closer relationship with Jesus and His teachings. When you invest your time in the things of God, you are investing in eternal treasures where moth and rust and thieves cannot destroy. The bible is THE manual of how to live life to its fullest. There is no other instruction manual in the world that can change your life like the instructions in the Holy Bible. And the reason this is true is because the bible contains not just stories and words but Spiritual Power that God encoded into this life manual.

There are people who are suffering great fear and worry over this pandemic. There are people who are fighting for their lives in the hospitals and mankind is responding to the best of its ability to alleviate this suffering. But what is being made very clear at this time is, even with all our knowledge, resources, wealth, and prosperity, when it comes right down to it, we are not in control of most things in this world and universe. We too often take for granted such things as the sun rising in the morning and setting in the evening. We take for granted when we go to the grocery store that we can buy fresh food, bread, toilet paper, and virtually anything we need and want. We take for granted we can go to the doctor and get medicine when we are sick or go to a hospital that is well staffed and ready to do what ever it takes to make us well. We take for granted that we can get on a plane and fly virtually anywhere in the world we want to go. Until now! Now things have changed. Now I ask, what are we really in control of?

  • We are in control of the choices we make in our actions, who we love and from who we withhold love.
  • Who we forgive and who we choose not to forgive.
  • Who we share our abundance with and who we withhold our abundance from.
  • What we read, what we watch, what we think, say and do!  That is what God has given us control over.

I believe God is trying to get our attention but He still gives you and I a choice. Do we just continue with what we have always done and look at this time as an inconvenience? Or, do we take note and Go to Him and seek his wisdom and His Mercy and use this time to change the priorities in our life?  It’s a choice.

Hope to see everyone soon. Sincerely, pastor kent

Tune in this Sunday 10:30am on Facebook Live.
