PCF will be leading worship this coming Sunday at 8:45am. The girls will be back leading the music and I will be speaking on Wisdom,  I began doing a study on God’s wisdom in the bible and have found mountains of material so this Sunday will be the beginning into this subject. All topics in the bible are for our benefit. The wisdom contained in the bible is like no other learning in the world. It is the Creator’s owners manual to be used daily to help you live a more joyful fulfilling life! This Sunday I pray that this teaching will bring you into God’s circle of blessing.

Announcements:

INTERESTED IN A NIGHT OF SELF-CARE?

“Yoga with Lisa” begins this evening at 7:00 pm.  This is a lovely complement for Immanuel’s 8:00 pm Contemplative Service.  Come stretch and revive your body.  Then, consider staying to revive your spirit.  Class is free – you are encouraged to bring a small donation for the Glen-Ed Pantry.  You should also bring a yoga mat.  PLEASE NOTE:  There will be no yoga class this coming Sunday, January 21

SUDSY SUNDAYS CONTINUE

Many times when people think about contributing to the Food Pantry, a canned good comes to mind.  However, their greatest need is for things that are not covered by Food Stamps, such as dishwashing soap, detergent and personal hygiene items.  The Glen-Ed Food Pantry is so appreciative of our effort to keep their needs out in front of you each week.  All Sundays in January are “Sudsy Sundays”, meaning we are especially asking for donations of dishwashing soap, detergent, hand soap, etc.  They Pantry has a great need for these items and cannot keep them in stock – however, any donation is appreciated.  Donations may be placed into the red and green Pantry boxes in the narthex.

Sally Mclaughlin could still use a couple more people to help with coffee and donuts. We currently have three people who are providing this service on Sunday mornings. If you can help on the Sunday’s PCF leads worship please call Sally. 618-978-3490.
