Why is it sometimes so difficult to find Peace and the circle of Blessings from God?

Kent and PCF Singers will be leading worship again this coming Sunday, November the 5th at 8:45am. This Sunday will be a communion Sunday and I will be answering the above question.

I have a couple of additions to the prayer list and that is Mary Knapp who will be having hip surgery Thursday Morning at Anderson Hospital and Betty Godin who had a stroke a few months ago and is still recovering. Betty was a very faithful member with PCF until she moved to Missouri to live with her sister. I spoke wit Betty this past week and she is still filled with joy and life and says hi to everyone.

The board has approved money for the winter clothing gifts which will be given out as gift certificates to the kids we serve lunches to on the weekends. We will be passing out gift certificates for $50.00 worth of winter clothes at Target. So another huge thank you to all of you who support the ministry of PCF!  We continue to “impact” people in need! And that is what we are called to do.

My question to all who attend worship at the 8:45am services, “Are you reading your bibles daily?” If not, why not? That is where you will find answers to bring you into the circle of God’s blessings.  Sermons and church are great but God wants to speak to you everyday and reading the bible is the best way to allow Him to do so.

Announcements: This Sunday is also All Saints day where we recognize loved ones who have passed away this past year. Their name will be read and a candle lit in their memory. If you would like a loved one added to the list please call Anita  ASAP in the church office at 656-4648.

Christmas Shoe boxes are due this Sunday along with $9.00 for postage.

Set your clock back 1 hour this Saturday!

Glen Ed food pantry will be collecting new unwrapped Christmas gifts of toys, games and clothing for  children through teens.

See you Sunday. Love, pastor kent
