Blessings to all the Praise Community Fellowship Family and Friends. What is going to make this coming year Great for you and your family?  Hopefully it will include getting to know Jesus on a more intimate deeper level. That is my goal, to gain a deeper understanding of all of His teachings and to walk even closer with Jesus.

I came across the title of a new book this past week that has stuck with me because this is something I have been able to do some years ago as I was deepening my walk with God. I read the summary of the book online and I totally agree with the premise. This is simple but very powerful and can change your future for the better. Here it is: Make Yourself UNOFFENDABLE! That’s right, decide to make yourself unoffendable this year! Think about that. How many times have I watched the news and watched video’s on Facebook and other social media platforms and one of the main issues is, people get easily and many times out of control offended by….you name it. How much more pleasant would life be if people would practice being Unoffendable. You can begin practicing this life changing trait right now in this moment because being offended is a choice! Just like Love is a choice. If someone says something or does something that is not very pleasant fine, so what? What good is it for you to retaliate and get your blood pressure up and get yourself all worked up and in a tizzy over someones opinion? It’s crazy.  Not only that, but practicing to be unoffendable would save marriages, save neighbors from all kinds of legal battles and strife.  It would stop many family disputes and friendship breakups. The bottom line, “Let stuff Go! It will set you free! Stop the ulcers, the high blood pressure, the elevated pulse rates. Let it Go!  But is this biblical? I think Matthew gives us a clue to that question:

Something to think about!
Happy New Year’s Eve. I’ll be praying for all of you! Love, pastor kent
