The boat is 69 years old, the Johnson Motor is 67 years old and the driver, me, is almost 68.
Blessings PCF family, This Sunday we may have a visitor from the care center across the street. His name is Rich Sparks. Let’s make sure we make Rich feel welcomed and loved as we do with all of our visitors.
- The choir was practicing some powerful songs this this week. I always look forward to the praise and worship they bring to our Sunday services.
- We were blessed with a visit from Lori Rodgers daughter Taylor and her new baby Miles last night at choir rehearsal. His big brother Owen was also with us. Maybe we will have little Miles join us this Sunday.
- IMPORTANT: This Sunday Esic Drive will be closed due to construction, you will have to get to the church by exiting off of 157.
Sometimes we get too familiar with bible stories, we tune out or even skip over them when we are reading the bible. I’ve learned not to do that. This week I am going to go to a very popular parable that many of us have heard dozens of times, but just when you think you get it, the Holy Spirit opens your eyes to deeper thoughts and meanings. I’m looking forward to sharing the story to see what the Holy Spirit speaks into your heart. The words of the bible contain infinite Spiritual wisdom. There is always more but The Holy Spirit only reveals it when it’s time. See you Sunday! 10:30am.

- Rich Sparks, Rich lives across the street from the church at the Care Center. Rich has skin cancer, and is on dialysis. He is currently homeless but through God’s grace and prayer there is hope for a better future.
- Sheryl Burian, Sheryl was back with us at Choir rehearsal last night, but we need to continue prayers for her complete healing.
- Tom Gain’s friend Ross Besch needs prayers that he will be able to walk again.
- Alberta Ringering, Diane Rinkle’s mother is back home! We will continue to lift her
- Guy Schmidt, Guy is having treatments for severe back pain, please lift Guy to God’s healing hands.
- Mary Knapp is needing a surgery for Pain management in her back. Please lift Mary as she waits for this next procedure to help eliminate her pain.
- Nadeen Schuette is continuing with her new chemo treatments for liver cancer.
- Jane Hyten who is in late stage MSA asking for God’s peace
- Dustin Bilderback’s sister who is in treatment for cancer
- Brody Sedlacek, 8 year old in cancer treatment
God we lift all these people on our prayer list to you because you are the perfect healer. We ask that you open their hearts to your word, your truth, your love and your ability to change things in their lives, and for this we praise you!
Praise Community Fellowship is a very Joyful, Prayerful church! We meet Sunday mornings at 10:30am at the Esic Worship Center located at 1000 University Drive Edwardsville near the old YMCA .
