This morning I walked over to Glik Park to take some photos of our sanctuary in the snow. It was a beautiful morning, I had just finished my daily devotions and was looking forward to getting some great photos. The picture above was taken about 2 minutes before I slipped on ice and broke my ankle. Ambulance was called and the excellent EMT’s here in Edwardsville got me on a gurney and to the ambulance. Bottom line, home now with cast, will see the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow morning.

- Alene Schuette, who fell and fractured a vertebrae.
- Me, for quick healing of broken ankle
