“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

Dear PCF Family, what a wonderful service we had last Sunday. I pray this is just the beginning of many more new families with young children joining us to worship our Lord Jesus. What an amazing, joyful family we have. We are blessed.

The Christmas Worship Schedule:

  • Tonight, Choir Rehearsal Worship, 6:30pm
  • Sunday Dec. 10, Sunday Worship, 10:30am

Christmas Eve falls on Sunday this Year. PCF will have its regular Service at 10:30am. There will not be a Christmas Eve Service.

I want to say something about our prayer list. The people on our list all need prayer, mostly healing prayers but I want to suggest something to you. Many times I wake up in the middle of the night and sometimes I just think about people in our congregation and say a prayer of blessing for them. I think a prayer of blessing is a powerful silent gift you can give to anyone anywhere any time.

Prayer updates:

  • I spoke with Wendy Wickham who had knee surgery this past week. She sent me pictures of her leg and she is going to be laid up for at least a month. It was serious knee surgery. She is in good spirits but is definitely out of commission for a while. She has her son Gabe staying with her to help with care. Wendy will need our prayers as she recovers.
  • Ruth Lange attended service this past week and I was very happy to see her. She will be having surgery December 20th and it is supposed to be outpatient surgery so she should be able to go home later in the day. The prognosis of her condition according to her doctor seems positive. Continue to lift Ruth to God’s healing grace.
  • Betsy Kelleher and Russ were also with us this past Sunday and was also very happy to see both of them. Betsy is having at CT scan today to determine the extent of her future heart surgery. We are also praying for her son David who is having serious health issues with his liver and on top of that is in the process of moving across the country. So we lift David to God who offers us help and wisdom in times of need.
  • Nadeen Schuette, mom is continuing her chemo treatments for the cancer spots on her liver. I’ll be taking her tomorrow for a CAT scan to see how the chemo is doing. The blessing is that she has no ill side effects of the Chemo and feels pretty good most of time. She also was with us this past Sunday and it’s always good to have mom in the service. Friday she turns 88!
  • Currently do not have any updates on Brody Sedlacek or Micah Mckinney but I will keep you posted. Both these young men need us to keep praying for God’s healing and His peace and wisdom.
