Flowers waiting to be planted. Are you a flower waiting to be planted?
Dear PCF family, over the past several weeks I have been approached by more people than ever who have questions about God, the bible, and the life changing power of walking with Jesus. These encounters are coming not only from people in our congregation but people outside of our congregation as well. There seems to be a new movement of the Spirit causing people to seek answers regarding many Spiritual things. I find this very encouraging because God is moving in people’s lives. I always welcome questions and conversations regarding the teachings in the bible, I feel honored and greatly desire to help those seeking but it is very important to understand that no one has all the answers except God. We should gather regularly with one another and discuss our spiritual journeys, but the center of these discussions should revolve around prayer, God, and the bible. The way, the truth, and the life! Ask, Seek and Knock!
Special Prayers this week for Mike Portell who will have another major surgery tomorrow morning at Barnes West on his ankle. Mike said this will be another surgery that may take 5 or six hours to repair damage to his ankle. After the surgery he will re enter rehab again to begin another journey of healing. I also want to add Angela Mosley who will be going into the hospital tomorrow for a biopsy. This is always a time of waiting and enduring the unknown. Please lift Mike and Angela to God’s healing grace, wisdom, and peace.
Announcement: Robin Hlava will not be with us this next Sunday so the older children will have to go in with the little ones unless we have a volunteer that could take the 5year old class. There are usually three to 5 in that classroom. If you would be willing to volunteer for next Sunday let me know. Kent 618-334-3575
