Good morning PCF friends and family, it’s Tuesday and Jesus is still in charge of the entire universe, not Russia, not China, Not Iran, not the US, Jesus! Get to know Him well! It will do wonders for your daily life.
Message to 17 – 25 year olds: Young people, I am always thinking about you. So in my many readings and research I ran across an interesting youtube video of a young lady who has come to realize that Jesus is real. The video takes about 15 minutes but I think it is worth the investment to see what Jesus can do in a life. About the Homework assignment: I have received 4 stories so far. I really want everyone to write something I can share with the PCF family. Mention things that most people wouldn’t know about you. You can list what you did or still do for a living, hobbies, passions, skills, languages you speak, travels, something you have overcome because of getting to know Jesus. Testimonies would be great! Each Sunday, I will take one of these and introduce one of the responses I get back. I want people at PCF to get to know one another better. You can email them to me at: kent@bonniburns.com or you can write them or type them and put them in the offering on Sunday.
Bible Study: I have had a couple of inquiries about starting a bible study. I have good news, We can do that! We already have one group and it will meet on Monday mornings at 9:00am at the church starting in September. This group is established but we would certainly welcome any new people. I know not everyone can make it on a work day at that time so I am open to starting another group at a different time. If you would be interested in a bible study, let me know by emailing me kent@bonniburns.com and I will see what kind of response I get and then notify all those who contact me. We will go from there. - Gay Kell, Krista’s mom, is having an aortic heart valve replacement surgery on August 29th at Christian North East Hospital. Let’s turn this over to our Lord Jesus and ask for a successful surgery and a rapid recovery.
- Praise Report: Vamsi, Divya’s cousin got his Visa approved and will be joining Divya here in the US to study for his masters program!
- Debbie Creamer, Debbie is resting from her surgery on her throat due to thyroid cancer. She is resting and should be going home today or tomorrow
- Patti Franklin’s brother Bill Powell has two arteries blocked and will be having cardiac cath surgery August 15th. Let’s lift Patti’s brother Bill in healing prayers for a successful surgery and a complete rapid recovery along with having the Holy Spirit fill him with God’s peace.
- Verlene Schwalb, Verlene battles something called Multiple Myeloma which is cancer of the bone marrow. She is currently on treatment, and it makes her ill and weak. Lets lift Verlene to God’s healing hands and ask for rapid success with the treatment and for less side affects.
- Sheryl Burian Update. Sheryl is home doing fine. She is having some pain but the doctors say all went well with the surgery.
- Leah and Lane Kaburick, Please lift Leah and Lane Kaburick to God’s wisdom and guidance and protection as they are both preparing for the next phase of their life. Leah will be heading off to college and Lane will be entering the air force.
- Jason Burton, Jason continues to got good news with his latest treatments. Keep lifting Jason for continued healing and strength.
- Pray for the people God is sending to our Church family. God is trusting us to provide them with a Joyful, loving, Spiritual Home.
- Jim Ebersoldt, We will continue to lift Jim and Sue in prayer. Jim is experiencing some serious health issues with heart and liver.
- The people of Ukraine and Russia who do not want the war.
