Spring Grecian Windflowers
Good morning PCF family, Tyler Mackey is in Las Vegas at his Karaoke competition today. He said you can tune in and watch live if you go to youtube and put in the search, International Karaoke Federation. I’m waiting to hear back from him about what time this begins. At this point all I know is it is today.
You can bless this day for yourself and the people you meet. It starts with a prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and a joyful spirit so that you may spread and plant that Spirit of joy and love into others throughout your day. I planted a bunch of Grecian Windflowers yesterday. I have never planted them before but they are early spring bloomers that kind of look like a small daisy. I am waiting for the promise of beauty after a long cold winter as the crocus, the grape hyacinths, and the Anemone’s come forth in the spring sun.
Like a resurrection, there is life after…..for the those who believe in Jesus. AND…this is very important, there is a much better life now for those who spend time in the bible and who seek fellowship with the Lord daily through the Holy Spirit. Don’t wait, make everyday a day that you seek him. Remember the parable of the Prodigal son. Luke 15:19 “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” For we were all lost but our belief in Jesus makes us found! We are now part of God’s Holy Family.
Prayers: New addition, Debbie Vandernoot.
- Debbie is a friend of Anne Ford. Debbie has ALS and not only is it taking a huge toll on her health, but also on the health of her husband Mike who is under great stress because of seeing his wife go through this terrible disease. Please pray for God’s miracle healing hand to be on both Debbie and her Husband Mike.
- Rich McGinness, this is Brett Halbe’s grandfather. Rich is struggling with overall health issues.
- Harold Bloomberg, Jennifer Rinkel’s grandpa who is in late stages of cancer.
- Debbie Creamer who has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.
- Jennifer Rinkel’s niece Bristol is receiving her final chemo treatment this week and we pray that she will be cancer free.
- Pray for all our young parents and their children. Let’s keep them all in prayer that they will all continue bringing their children to church each Sunday and getting them in Sunday school. Young parents need our support, that is very important. The stress of raising young children can sometimes be overwhelming and we want to be a church that is there to lift them, love them, and support them when things get tough.
