This past week has been a very difficult one. We have had a death in the Praise Community Fellowship family which I found out about this past Tuesday. I have not mentioned it until this time because of the nature of what has taken place. I am very saddened to tell you that Gary Daniel died Tuesday as a result of suicide. I have been in contact with Linda and with her permission I am putting this information out now.
This Sunday I have decided to begin our series on dealing with the real tough questions about God, faith, the bible. I am going to address this tragedy in light of our faith and as a memorial to Gary who I was privileged to have baptized while we were still meeting at Esic Baptist. I have been praying and studying and feel as if we need to address this tragedy with great care and compassion and biblical truth this Sunday.

We will gather together this Sunday to learn, to remember Gary, to love, share, and remember that we have an obligation as Christians to be the light into others darkness. Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
