Dear PCF family and friends, as I write this blog the Bonni and the choir are having rehearsal and worship at the church. I am sitting these last two rehearsals out because of a cough that I’m getting over.

As a reminder there will be no Service this coming Sunday due to Bonni and I being out of town on business.  I am however going to post a message that you will be able to watch on the PCF Facebook page at your convenience. I will post it live sometime tomorrow but it will be recorded so you can watch it anytime.

In Pauls first letter to Timothy he tells Timothy to do this: “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people! (Of all the things Paul could have told Timothy he emphasizes, “First Of All PRAY.) Paul then goes on to say, “Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.  Paul is instructing one of his first pastors, Timothy,  on how to run and empower the church. First of all pray.

When you don’t feel like praying, ask the Holy Spirit to help you and intercede for you. It’s OK if you don’t even understand what all that means, the most important thing is that you truly desire in your heart to want to know God, and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Your Christian walk develops with desire. When you desire to know God and you desire the Holy Spirit’s presence in your life, God knows your heart and He will begin opening His Kingdom to you. My suggestion is daily time with God. It won’t take long and you will quickly learn what the peace of God and the Joy of the Lord really is. It’s real and it’s for you!  So, to get started, Pray for God’s presence.

Our prayer list:  I will have an update on Nelleke Weese and Linda Cassens on my broadcast. Nelleke had her Knee surgery today!

  • Lana West, Lana is Tyler Mackie dad’s girl friend and she has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Let’s lift this young lady to God’s healing power and ask for Jesus to surround her with His love and his healing angels. Father let her feel your presence and your peace.
  • Nelleke Weese, Nelleke will be going into surgery on Wednesday November 9th to have the meniscus repaired in her knee. As you know Nelleke has a trip back to Holland planned very soon so we pray that the operation goes well and her healing comes quickly. We pray for God’s healing hands to be with the surgeons and that Nelleke’s recovery is quick so she can visit her family.
  • Linda Cassens, Linda had an emergency heart pacemaker surgery about a week ago after passing out due to low heart rate. When she passed out she also broke her wrist. She is home recovering from the surgery. Please lift Linda to God’s peace and healing grace.
  • Pray for the people God is sending to our Church family. God is trusting us to provide them with a Joyful, loving, Spiritual Home.
  • Jim Ebersoldt, We will continue to lift Jim and Sue in prayer. Jim is experiencing some serious health issues with heart and liver.
