Good morning PCF family, I hope everyone saw the beauty of God’s Clouds yesterday afternoon. When we become God aware He seems to show up everywhere. We can find him in the people we see, especially in people who know him. I see Him in my many blessings, and I always see Him in the beauty and diversity in nature. Be a daily billboard for the presence of God in your life. When you are walking with Jesus, you are walking with the one who knows all things about all things which includes life journeys that seem overwhelming and scary at times. Get closer to him when you enter a period of life that seems dark and unknown. He will guide you through the shadows and back into the light. Trust Him!
Notice: The TWIGS summer program is looking for a few substitutes to fill in when our regular volunteers are on vacation. The TWIGS team deliver lunches on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Cottonwood area. If interested, please call or txt Sally McLauchlan 618-978-3490. This is a wonderful way to get a taste of ministry of doing God’s work.
Wednesday night choir rehearsal at 6:30pm at the church tonight. If you love our choir, Wednesday evenings can be a midweek boost to your spiritual life.
Bonnie Rutkowski visitation schedule and service for this weekend. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel in Glen Carbon, Illinois, and again on Saturday, May 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Praise Community Fellowship, 1000 University Drive, Edwardsville, IL. There will be a service at the church starting at 10:00am. and a luncheon that follows the burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery, back at the church around noon.
Prayer suggestion: I find it useful to take time to think about all the people in our church family and when the Holy Spirit moves me I pray for a person even if they are not on our prayer list. I don’t know about you, but I ‘ll take every prayer offered for me and my family anytime because we worship the God who sees and hears!

- Micah McKinney, Jane Mckinney’s son has had a relapse in his cancer and will need surgery soon.
- Bristol Horner, Bristol is Eric and Jennifer Rinkel’s 3 year old niece. She has been diagnosed with cancer. Little Bristol has had her kidney removed and will now be able to come home for a bit while they figure out the next treatment protocol.
- Nelleke Weese, Please pray for Nelleke as they run more tests.
- Mary Knapp, please keep Mary and her husband Leland in your prayers as Mary is still battling a pressure wound that is not healing.
- Dr. Ed Breda a good friend of Joanie Kuba who suffered a severe bicycle accident on March 6th of this year has been left paralyzed from the chest down and lost his left eye, suffered a broken jaw and many broken ribs. Please lift Ed to Jesus’ power of healing and mercy.
