Good morning PCF family, Today is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it. That is a wonderful reminder but the reality for many is, their circumstances make it very hard to rejoice. Overwhelmed, overworked, over stressed, lacking sleep, lacking peace, lacking joy. And then there are those who are waking up each day just kind of on autopilot. No real problems, but still lacking that inner peace and inner joy that is only possible with a very strong faith and belief in the Lord Jesus. So what’s the answer to this burdened life? The only answer I have found to be true is by getting closer to God’s word, and spending more time in prayer. Staying connected to the vine of truth. I think the way to explain it is, you must become an “active seeker” of God and His desire to help you in all circumstances. Become an Intense seeker of His truth.
Landon’s mom is a wonderful example of someone who has put her full faith and trust in the goodness of God, even in her darkest moments with her son Landon. Here is her latest letter:
“It’s late, and I can’t sleep. My heart and mind keep circling back to a verse that has taken on a whole new meaning for me. Philippians 1:12 “And I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News.” When I read that, I can’t help but think of my boy. This isn’t the story we would have ever chosen for him. Heart failure. Surgeries. An LVAD. A transplant. Each step has been overwhelming, frightening, and at times it’s left us asking, “Why, Lord? Why him?” But then I look at what God is doing through his life. And even though Landon sits in a hospital room, his story is still reaching people we never could have reached on our own. Friends. Family. Nurses. Doctors. Even strangers. All of them being reminded of God’s faithfulness through what Landon is walking through. That’s the power of this verse lived out. Nothing is wasted in God’s hands. What once felt like setbacks in this journey has become the very stage where the Good News shines brighter. Landon’s life keeps reminding me, and I pray it reminds you too, that God never wastes our suffering. He weaves purpose into pain. And what the enemy meant for harm, God is using for good.” Praise God from whom all all blessings flow!”
Reminder we are having our annual lasagna dinner Saturday October 11th at 5:00 PM all are invited. The dinner is free but we do need a head count so make sure to let Nelleke know if you are going to attend. Our mission for this dinner will be the Community Hope Center. Please continue in prayer for:

- Harold Bloomberg, Jennifer Rinkel’s grandpa who is in late stages of cancer.
- Landon and his family
- Our church, that God will continue to bless us and lead us so that we may continue be a beacon of His light and Hope to those who may still be living in darkness and fear without His presence in their lives.
